Boomer (AKA The Honey Badger) represents the core kayaker in every sense. Regardless of how cold, broke, or hungry he is, Erik always finds a way to paddle. Hailing from the Northwest, Boomer built his reputation on massive waterfalls and committing canyons from a young age. With 6 descents of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, and multiple high water descents of the North Fork Payettte, he is also an accomplished big water paddler. This past winter Boomer went to Washington DC to live as a homeless person over the holidays as part of a social experiment, after that he geared up for his biggest adventure yet, a 100+ day circumnavigation of Ellesmere Island including something like 1000kms on foot pulling his boat. In typical honey badger fashion, Boomer pulled it all off. We look forward to seeing what kind of adventure is on his horizon.
